Hate it when....
Ah I absolutely hate it when I am struck by an idea for a print and suddenly realise I have no idea where my sketchbook has been put….
I am hoping that as I type all this my brain will engage and remember where it is!

Working...what a strange concept...
Yes, I am actually doing some work. It’s a lovely feeling, like I’m achieveing something worthwhile. However I do miss etching, the precision and tidyness of it which I just don’t get with lino cuts. Maybe I’m just being a bit OCD…
On the plus side though I haven’t injured myself since the wrist incident, good times :)

Finally knuckle down to doing some work and clumsy Hannah strikes again…manage to stab the lino cutter into my wrist!

The work of Cathy DeMonchaux is such a huge inspiration for me. She looks at many themes but I love her exploration of materials and the possible connotations that are implied.

Just one of my top ten artists for inspiration and general touchy feely-ness. I really wish I could just go round one of his shows touching everything!

A fantastic show I saw last night at the Pleasance theatre in London. Brilliant acrobatic performance with humour and sass! I really couldn’t recommend this more!!
